APPOINTED CELEBRANTS

The unit of competency Plan, Conduct & Review a Marriage Ceremony (CHCMCEL-401A) is the mandatory unit aspiring celebrant must complete prior to sending in their application to the Commonwealth Attorney-General for consideration of appointment. 

When aspiring celebrant have complete the training they will also have completed the units,

CHCADMIN5C "Work within the administration protocols of the organization” and 

CHCCS5B “Identify and address specific client needs”.

Australian Celebrations Training provides classroom training all over Australia throughout the year. The course runs for 5 consecutive days, from 9am to 5pm. The classroom numbers are small to give students  the best advantage in learning. A great advantage of classroom work is the visual presentation of ceremonies, and the role playing elements of the training.

The tuition fee covers the  Student Manual, a copy of the Marriage Act and Marriage Regulations, and extensive resource of wedding ceremonies and wedding poems booklet, and other material necessary for studies and successful business setup.

The tuition fee is over $1,000.
